Portrait “aka People” Photography

For the first few years as I learned and grew my photography skills and understanding I avoided taking anything more than a snapshot with people as the subject. Afterall a deer or elk has no care for what it looks like in a photograph, only your and my opinion’s matter. People, especially female people, care a great deal about what they look like in a photograph so I did not want to disappoint, or worse, capture unflattering photos of someone.

I have since added both outdoor and indoor portraiture to my repertoire and portfolio. Below you can see some of my portraits. I will soon have these organized into genres based on the type. Outdoor Portraits, Studio Portraits, Creative, Couples, and Family Photos.
