Portrait Photography

For the first few years, as I learned and grew my photography skills, I avoided taking anything more than a quick snapshot with people as the subject. Afterall, wildlife has no care for what it looks like in a photograph; only the opinions of the photographer and the viewer matter. However, people instead do tend to care a great deal about how they appear in a photograph, so I did not want to disappoint, or worse, capture unflattering photos of someone.

I have since added both outdoor (natural light) and indoor (flash) portrait photography to my skillset. Below you can see some of my portraits. I will soon have these organized into genres: Outdoor Portraits, Studio Portraits, Creative, Couples, and Family Photos.
